Constitution of Nepal 2072 declared to go into the federal system. In this way, Nepal has a central government, 7 provincial states, 77 districts and 753 local bodies. Total of 753 local bodies there are 6 metropolitan cities, 11 sub-metropolitans, 276 municipalities and 460 rural municipalities.
